As a Mechanical Superintendent, you will lead HVAC and plumbing operations on large-scale commercial construction projects—including schools, hospitals, and advanced government facilities—while ensuring seamless equipment installation, startup, and long-term performance.  </p><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong>  </p><p><strong>Lead with Purpose</strong>  </p><ul>  <li>Oversee      daily field operations and direct skilled craft workers and subcontractors      across HVAC and plumbing scopes   </li><li>Ensure      proper staffing, material availability, and efficient workflow from      project start through completion   </li><li>Enforce      safety standards and promote a culture of accountability on the jobsite  </li></ul><p><strong>Plan, Execute &amp; Deliver</strong>  </p><ul>  <li>Review      project drawings, specifications, and contract documents to develop      construction strategies and detailed schedules   </li><li>Manage      submittals, procurement, installation, and startup activities in alignment      with project requirements   </li><li>Coordinate      closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure      seamless execution  </li></ul><p><strong>Equipment Startup &amp; Commissioning</strong>  </p><ul>  <li>Lead      the startup, testing, and commissioning of mechanical and plumbing systems        </li><li>Verify      system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure readiness for turnover        </li><li>Oversee      system operation throughout the warranty period, ensuring reliability and      contract compliance  </li></ul><p><strong>Drive Performance &amp; Cost Control</strong>  </p><ul>  <li>Monitor      budgets, control costs, and implement efficient installation and startup      strategies   </li><li>Review      subcontractor progress, approve billings, and maintain accurate production      tracking   </li><li>Provide      field-driven insights to support scheduling, purchasing, and overall      project success  </li></ul><p><strong>Stay Ahead of the Curve</strong>  </p><ul>  <li>Develop      site logistics plans, including site utilization, security, and material      flow   </li><li>Maintain      accurate daily reports, logs, and documentation to ensure compliance and      transparency   </li><li>Ensure      all work meets contractual, quality, and organizational standards  </li></ul><p><strong>What You Bring</strong>  </p><ul>  <li>OSHA      Safety Training (minimum OSHA 10-hour certification)   </li><li>Minimum      5 years of supervisory experience in HVAC and plumbing construction   </li><li>Proven      experience in commercial or institutional projects (schools, hospitals,      government, or industrial facilities)   </li><li>Strong      knowledge of mechanical systems installation and equipment      startup/commissioning   </li><li>Ability      to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents   </li><li>Excellent      leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills  </li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements</strong>  </p><ul>  <li>Ability      to bend, stoop, climb, and lift up to 25 pounds  </li></ul><p><strong>Perks &amp; Benefits</strong>  </p><p>We invest in your future—because when you grow, we grow.  </p><ul>  <li>401(k)      with company match   </li><li>Health,      dental, and life insurance   </li><li>Health      Savings Account (HSA)   </li><li>Paid      time off and holidays   </li><li>Tuition      reimbursement &amp; professional development support   </li><li>Retirement      plan options  </li></ul><p><strong>Required Licenses &amp; Certifications</strong>  </p><ul>  <li>Valid      Driver’s License   </li><li>OSHA      10-hour Certification (minimum)  </li></ul><p><strong>A Note on Our Culture</strong>  </p><p>This role goes beyond a checklist.
